We're passionate about giving back to the community.

Here at Western Window Systems, we’re passionate about giving back to the community. Since we started Western Volunteers, our volunteer program for employees and their families, we’ve hand-packed over 20,000 meals for malnourished kids, helped to feed over 600 needy families, and donated our foosball table to the local Boys & Girls Club.

When you work at Western Window Systems, you’re not just joining a team of amazing individuals, you’re also joining a family who believe in making a difference in and out of the workplace.

IT Director of Software Services

America joined Western Window Systems in 2016 as a project manager and assumed duties as an application development manager 11 months later. In her current role as IT director of software services, America oversees the development, release, and maintenance of Western Window Systems’ software applications, and manages technology operations.


Prior to Western Window Systems, America worked for Bank of America as a VP project manager. Born in Michoacán, Mexico, America earned a bachelor’s degree in computer information systems from California Lutheran University and a master’s degree in business administration from Arizona State University.

America has a passion for traveling, reading, and finding new experiences to share with her family.

Jeremy Flynn, Western Window Systems' Vice President of Custom Sales

Jeremy Flynn is vice president of custom sales at Western Window Systems. He oversees the sales strategy for the custom sales and architectural consultant teams and grows relationships with Western Window Systems’ partners.

He previously had worked in the fenestration industry for 15 years. He was regional sales director with Milgard and served as senior sales director for PGT Custom Windows + Doors, a subsidiary, like Western Window Systems, of PGT Innovations.

A native of Oxnard, California, Jeremy now lives in Temecula, California, where he and his wife donate time and money to Temecula Dollars for Scholars. Jeremy earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Phoenix. The father of three grown children, he is an L.A. Dodgers fan and an avid golfer who enjoys spending time with his wife and their two miniature Australian Shepherds, Jake and Austin.

Abbas Ali, Vice President of Finance

In his role as vice president of finance, Abbas Ali is responsible for Western Window Systems’ financial planning and analysis. Abbas joined Western Window Systems in 2017 as a senior financial analyst.

Prior to joining Western Window Systems, Abbas worked at First Solar as a corporate financial planning and analysis manager. He has a master’s degree in business administration from Arizona State University. In addition to gardening and playing cricket, Abbas loves spending time with his wife and two sons.

Mark Yeandle, Western Window Systems' Vice President of Operations

Mark Yeandle is vice president of operations at Western Window Systems. He has had a lengthy career in the fenestration industry, where he has worked at Clayton Supply, Quanex, and most recently Milgard. His career started in Ontario, Canada, before he moved to the United States in 1999. He has held positions such as a plant manager, general manager and director, allowing him to utilize his strengths contributing to the operations side of the business.

Mark has been married to his wife Kate for 35 years and they have three sons together. He received his BS and MBA from the University of Phoenix. Being Canadian, he is a fan of the Toronto Maple Leafs, and plays and coaches hockey. He also enjoys golfing and traveling with Kate. In addition, Mark participates in 5K and 10K races to support causes such as ALS and Wounded Warriors.

Mike Wothe is president of Western Window Systems.

Mike has over 30 years of experience leading and building teams. Prior to starting his career with Western Window Systems in December 2019, he held several positions at Cardinal Glass Industries in Amery, Wisconsin, including plant manager, vice president of Cardinal LG, and president.

As president of Western Window Systems, Mike oversees the strategic direction of the company including operational excellence, delivering on sales and overseeing growth enablers such as new products, leadership initiatives, and development of company culture.

Mike holds a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from the University of Washington in Seattle.

Mike has four children and a “wonder wife.” He likes golfing, fishing, and the great outdoors.

Vice President of Human Resources

Melissa Miner is Western Window Systems’ vice president of human resources, reporting to Debbie LaPinska, senior vice president of human resources at PGT Innovations.

Prior to her role at Western Window Systems, Melissa served as human resources director at PGT Innovations, parent company of Western Window Systems, in North Venice, Florida, where she started working in July 2012. Prior to that, she served as human resources coordinator for Enterprise Rent-A-Car.

Melissa has a certificate in human resource management from Villanova University in Radnor Township, Pennsylvania, and a Strategic HR Business Partner Certification from the Human Capital Institute.

Melissa moved to Phoenix to assume her role as vice president of human resources in January 2020. She describes her passions as “family and serving others.”

Vice President of Production Builder Sales

Chet Willis is Western Window Systems’ vice president of production builder sales. He is responsible for the business operations and management of the company’s Volume Program, designed to help production builders differentiate their homes and drive sales.

Under Chet’s leadership, his team grew production builder sales to nearly 500% in 2013 and 2014. He joined Western Window Systems in 2011.

Chet has over 20 years of experience in the fenestration industry. Prior to joining Western Window Systems, he was chief executive officer at Paramount Windows Corporation, one of the largest privately held window and door manufacturers in the Southwest. He enjoys playing music and is a motorcycle enthusiast.

Laura Hahnefeld, WWS Vice President of Marketing

In her role as vice president of marketing for Western Window Systems, Laura Hahnefeld is responsible for establishing and implementing strategic communications plans.

Prior to joining the company in 2014, Laura held advertising positions in Fortune 500 companies such as Sears, Kohl’s, and PetSmart. Also a published writer, she has worked as a staff writer at Phoenix New Times and as a freelance writer at PHOENIX Magazine.

Laura graduated from Kendall College of Art & Design with a bachelor’s degree in communications. She serves on the board of the Phoenix chapter of the American Marketing Association and is a volunteer for Girls Rock! Phoenix, a nonprofit organization that empowers girls through music, education, and creation.

Commercial Sales Director

Brian Leizerowicz is Western Window Systems' commercial sales director.

He has spent his entire career in the fenestration industry. Before joining Western Window Systems in 2018, he worked for companies such as EFCO, TRACO, and JE Berkowitz.

A native of the suburban Philadelphia/South New Jersey area, Brian holds a business management degree from Rutgers and a marketing degree from Stockton University in New Jersey.

Brian has lived since 2013 in Southern California, where he is a member of Impact Club Temecula, which pools member funds to make game-changing donations to support four local charities each year. In his free time, he enjoys the incredible Southern California weather and scenery. And in a house full of instruments, he likes to play, teach, and learn music with his teenage kids.
