No matter how good the manufacturing process may seem, there’s always room for improvement. Many times, it’s the people on the line who are the ones figuring out ways to do things better.
On the Series 670 windows night-side team, Brian Cole is one of those people.
“Brian helps to find ways to improve the process of the one-piece flow,” says windows manager Karl Price. “He’s always speaking up about ways to make improvements.”
And Cole, who’s been with Western Window Systems since July 2017, has proved time and time again to be the ultimate team player.
“He is always willing to help other departments when they are behind,” says Price. “And Brian steps up, without hesitation, to take on the role of lead when the regular lead is out sick.”
When it comes right down to it, we’re here to make the best product possible, so it’s important that the team is filled with people like Brian.
“He has a knack for good quality and doesn’t pass on defective product,” Price says. “He will fix any mistake, no matter how time consuming.”
Congratulations to Brian Cole, Western Window Systems’ night shop employee of the month for January.
