When it comes right down to it, the job is all about “getting it done.” It’s that can-do mentality that describes multi-slide team member Brian Gutierrez in a nutshell.
Gutierrez, who started at Western Window Systems in January 2012, comes in early and gives 110 percent all the time. In short, he’s a manager’s dream.
“When he finds ways to make his own job easier, he then asks for more responsibility and how he can make it easier for his manager,” says window and screen manager Karl Price.
Gutierrez is innovative, too. He’s known for improving upon new procedures and implementing great ideas of his for building Western Window Systems’ Multi-Slide doors better and more effectively.
Every day is an exercise in team strengthening for Gutierrez.
“Brian has the one-team goal in mind,” says Joey Morales, glass and sliding frame manager. “He’s always willing to move his guys around to departments that are struggling. And when another individual from another department comes to cross-train, he takes his time and shows them what to do and how to do it correctly and safely.”
Congratulations to Brian Gutierrez, Western Window Systems’ shop employee of the month for November.
