Large openings and massive rolling glass panels were the keys to creating a paradise within paradise for guests at Garza Blanca Preserve Resort & Spa in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.
The luxury retreat, nestled between the sparkling azure waters of the Pacific Ocean and the lush tropical forests of the Sierra Madre mountains, provides panoramic views from its rooms through Series 600 Multi-Slide Doors that easily slide open on heavy-duty rolling hardware to create a seamless transition from the interior spaces to exterior balconies and patios. When closed, the system provides weather protection and additional security via a concealed stainless-steel multi-point lock system.
Garza Blanca’s “panorama suites” feature spectacular ocean views from wraparound terraces that are unobstructed thanks to a 90-degree configuration of Series 600 Multi-Slide Doors that eliminates a connecting post. The 12-foot-tall glass panels slide into pockets on stainless-steel ball-bearing rollers to create extra-wide openings.
The sliding glass doors have been a big selling point for the resort, and guests have provided positive feedback online. One guest on Google reviews wrote, “What a view! We saw whales from the balcony every day,” while another Google reviewer praised the resort’s “upscale touches” including the “ceiling to floor windows that you could push open to take in the impressive view and refreshing sea breeze.”
