Since she started with the company in November 2015, business intelligence analyst Audrey Kenn has been listening: to customers, to coworkers, to the executive team, to just about everyone. And the results are paying off in a big way.
“Audrey’s been recognized by multiple people for taking the time to understand their needs before jumping into the work,” says John Engelstad, CIO of Western Window Systems. “This has significantly improved the quality of the reports being created and boosted satisfaction among users as well.”
Kenn’s active listening skills also help her identify needs within the company. Following one-on-one meetings with the leadership team, Kenn created a roadmap to transform reporting capabilities. She’s also identified key improvements in existing reports that save time and eliminate unnecessary information.
In the area of lean problem solving, Kenn created a secure process for the sales team that allows selected users to reset quotes without engaging IT for assistance and creates an audit log in case issues occur.
“With new auditors this year, Audrey has been under constant pressure to deliver highly complex reports on short deadlines,” says Engelstad. “Her focus on excellence has enabled us to accurately answer key questions with confidence.”
Congratulations to Audrey Kenn, Western Window Systems’ office employee of the month for March.
