Western Window Systems has been included for the fifth year in a row in Inc. magazine’s prestigious Inc. 5000, a ranking of the fastest-growing private companies in the United States. A leader in innovative window and door system design and manufacturing, Western Window Systems was ranked 3,212th on the 2018 list. The company boasted a growth rate of 122 percent over the past three years.
“Our team’s unwavering focus on designing, building, marketing, and selling doors and windows of the highest quality is the No. 1 reason for our sustained success,” says Scott Gates, president of Western Window Systems, which recently was purchased by Florida-based PGT Innovations, a publicly held corporation. “We’re thrilled to be recognized by Inc. for the fifth straight year, the final time we will be eligible. Now, we look ahead to an equally successful future with PGT Innovations.”
In its first appearance on the list in 2014, Western Window Systems was ranked 1,762nd, with subsequent rankings at 1,474th and 1,418th in 2015 and 2016, respectively. In 2017, it was ranked 1,777th.
“If your company is the on the Inc. 5000, it’s unparalleled recognition of your years of hard work and sacrifice,” says Inc. editor-in-chief James Ledbetter. “The lines of business may come and go, or come and stay. What doesn’t change is the way entrepreneurs create and accelerate the forces of our lives.”
The list provides a look at the most successful companies in the U.S. economy’s most dynamic sector – independent small business. Microsoft, Dell, Yelp, LinkedIn, and Zillow are among the well-known names that got their first exposure on the Inc. 5000.
